There are 26 States in Switzerland, which are the administrative divisions. There's 184 Districts of Switzerland, divided into a French [District], a German [Bezirk or Amtsbezirk] and an Italian [Distretto].
Horloge Fleurie
[Geneva's Flower Clock] was created in 1955 at the edge of the English Floral Garden. The clock is a tribute to the many fine watchmakers there.
The Jardin Anglais
The Jet d'Eau
is their famous water spout spewing more than a 140 meters high water monument.
The little towns of Vevey and Montreux area is called the Swiss Riviera [be sure and click on the guide on the left for all sorts of information on these picturesque and historical villages].
Montreux's historical Chateaux Chillon, on the island where it sits, was used in the Bronze Age and later by the Romans. The chateau was rebuilt in the 11th to 13th centuries.
