Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel
- the abbey is one of the
top visited monuments
in France. It is a
UNESCO
World Heritage sight unscripted in 1979. It is most
spectacular and if you feel fit to climb the hundreds of
steps to its summit, its worth it. The quaint little village
leading up to the abbey is charming with cafes and shops to
find mementos to take back home. The abbey has very
dangerous tides so don't venture out the flats without a

Christianity during the middle ages, along with the Pope's
palace, where the Popes reigned for nine centuries. The
